Founded by hockey mom Katie Kirt, who decided to reimagine how players maintain their sticks while also thinking about the environment. 

Katie's journey was started by a simple question: Why do young players constantly re-tape their hockey sticks? This consideration gave Katie an idea to create a solution that goes beyond conventional wax products. Armed with a good understanding of natural waxes, she began making club wax prototypes right in her kitchen. 

Her vision wasn't just about functional wax – it was about embracing sustainability. The goal was clear – develop a hockey wax that simplifies club maintenance while prioritizing renewable resources. She didn't stop there, Katie also turned to the real experts, the players themselves. Their insights shaped Absolute Filth's products.
