General Terms of Purchase

These terms of purchase apply to purchases made via These terms constitute a contract between you and MonkeySports Sweden AB (Corp. ID no. 556647-8896), Uthamnsvägen 9, 151 38 Södertälje, Sweden (hereinafter referred to as ”MonkeySports”). You consent to these terms when making a purchase from MonkeySports, so please read these terms carefully prior to making your purchase.

You will receive an order confirmation via email as soon as you have placed your order. It is important that you enter the correct email address when registering your details or making a purchase. The order confirmation is a confirmation that your order has been registered and received by us. When your order has been processed and shipped, you will automatically receive an invoice (purchase receipt) via email. Please save this document to facilitate any future contact with our customer service department regarding warranty issues, complaints or other matters.

You can choose to pay via debit/credit card, invoice or Swish.
MonkeySports does not store any bank account details or credit card numbers.

When you pay via Klarna Invoice, your transaction is processed simply and securely.
You never need to enter your card details, and you only pay after you have received your goods.
Your invoice is automatically activated as soon as your order has been shipped from our warehouse.

The Nets Easy payment solution is a complete, secure and simple payment method.
The Nets Easy solution enables quick payment with the freedom to choose from a number of payment methods including debit/credit card (Visa and Mastercard), invoice and instalment payments (AfterPay) and, in certain countries, Swish, Vipps and MobilePay.

Purchases within Sweden online and in brick-and-mortar stores always have 25% / 12% VAT included in the prices.

Prices are stated exclusive of VAT if you place your order from a country outside the European Union.

Certain taxes and import duties may apply if your shipment is sent to a country outside the European Union, in which case you are liable for payment of such taxes and duties.

MonkeySports recommends that you contact your local customs office for more information.

Orders placed in another person’s name without that person’s consent will be reported to the police. The same applies to orders where MonkeySports has reason to suspect fraudulent activity. 

If a stated price is incorrect, MonkeySports reserves the right to cancel the order and release the reserved amount back to the customer. 

If you are under the age of 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to order goods from MonkeySports.

For shipping and delivery of your order, MonkeySports collaborates with PostNord (Sweden, Denmark and Finland) and UPS (rest of the world).
You can choose delivery to a collection point or home delivery with PostNord within specified countries, and Direct Delivery or Access Point with UPS.

The delivery time may vary in Sweden. As a rule, delivery to eastern, western or southern parts of Sweden takes 1–2 working days, whereas delivery to locations in northern parts of the country may take up to 4 working days. The delivery time refers to the amount of time it takes for a delivery to reach you after it has been shipped from our warehouse.

The freight cost in Sweden starts from SEK 79, depending on the weight of the package and the freight company used.
The freight cost for deliveries to other countries starts from SEK 119 / DKK 89 / EUR 12/ NOK 135, depending on the weight of the package and the freight company used.
From time to time, MonkeySports may offer a discount in the form of free shipment. The order amount that must be exceeded to qualify for the discount will be clearly stated at checkout.

When your order has been processed, you will receive an email containing an order confirmation and shipment ID. It is not possible to make changes to your order once it has been processed.
You will be able to track your package from the evening of the day on which UPS or PostNord has registered receipt of the shipment. This normally takes place after 19:00 on the day your order leaves our warehouse.

We recommend that you download the PostNord or UPS app to enable easy monitoring of your delivery.

For orders where delivery is desired before Christmas Eve (24 December), we recommend that you place your order in good time to ensure receipt before this date. (For deliveries prior to Christmas Eve within the European Union, we recommend that you allow 10 days for delivery.)

UPS makes delivery on weekdays between 09:00 and 19:00. UPS will leave a note at your door if you were not home to receive the delivery. The purpose of the note is to inform you that an attempt has been made to deliver your package during the day, and that the driver has instead left the package with your neighbour, or will attempt a new delivery on the following working day, or has taken your package to the nearest UPS Access Point (collection point). You can change your delivery address or reschedule the delivery at no extra cost via the UPS Mobile app or by calling UPS Customer Service.

DELIVERY WITH POSTNORD (Sweden, Denmark, Finland)
Depending on your choice of delivery option (Home or Collect), you will receive a text message when your order has arrived at your nearest collection point or is on the way to your home address. In certain cases, PostNord does not deliver packages to collection points if the package weighs more than 20 kg, has a circumference in excess of 300 cm or is longer than 150 cm. Ice hockey sticks are usually shipped to a terminal rather than a collection point.

Your package will remain at the collection point for x days or as advised by the freight company. If you fail to collect your package, or if you have not been available to take receipt of your package on the specified delivery occasions, MonkeySports has the right to charge a return handling fee of at least SEK 249 / DKK 185 / EUR 24.90 / NOK 259. The size of the fee is based on weight, volume and destination.

To ensure that you do not miss any delivery information, we recommend that you download the freight company’s app in accordance with the above information.

If your package and/or its contents are damaged when you receive them, you must immediately report the damage to the collection point or the freight company’s driver, after which you must also contact the MonkeySports customer service department.

To return an order/product, you must always contact our customer service department to obtain an RA (Return Authorization) number. The RA number forms the basis for validation of the return when we receive it, to facilitate quick processing of your return.

Depending on weight, volume and the number of packages, MonkeySports charges a product return fee of at least SEK 199 in Sweden. For other countries the product return fee is at least DKK 189 / EUR 24.90 / NOK 249.

At MonkeySports you have a 30-day right of withdrawal and a 60-day right of exchange from receipt of your order via MonkeySports.

The 30-day right of withdrawal means that you have 30 days to change your mind about your purchase for any reason and, providing you notify us within this timeframe, to return the product and receive a refund.
When refunding your purchase after you have exercised your right of withdrawal, MonkeySports will charge a freight cost in accordance with the RETURNS section above.

The 60-day right of exchange means that you have up to 60 days to exchange the product.
When you exercise the right of exchange, a freight cost will be charged in accordance with the RETURNS section above.

In both of the above cases, you always have the right to unpack and test the product in a safe environment (i.e. without damaging it) while still retaining the right of return or exchange. 

If you choose to exchange a product that you have purchased online, you as the customer must place an order for the new product you desire. The amount of your original purchase will then be refunded once the returned product has been received by us and approved after inspection.

Please follow the instructions on the product return form when making a return. Please also be aware that you, as the customer, must pay the product return fee in accordance with the RETURNS section above. Please remember that you must always save the original packaging and the receipt.

Always protect the original packaging.
MonkeySports has the right to refuse returns that are missing the original packaging.
MonkeySports has the right to charge you, as the customer, a fee if the original packaging is damaged.

If we approve a return with missing or damaged original packaging, we reserve the right to charge the customer a reasonable fee based on the value of the goods.
(At least SEK 150/ EUR 15/ DKK 115/ NOK 155.)

The right of withdrawal and right of exchange ceases to apply if the product has been used, modified or damaged, or if the product is a PM (custom) product that has been customised based on your wishes.

Once the returned product has been inspected and approved by MonkeySports, it may take up to 5 banking days to process the refund. The refund will be paid to the same account/card used to make the purchase, or will be credited to your account via Klarna or AfterPay.

At MonkeySports you always have a limited warranty on the product you have purchased from us. 
This warranty is provided by the manufacturer of the product, and different products are therefore covered by different warranty periods. A warranty means that MonkeySports, through the respective manufacturer, is responsible for ensuring that a product lasts during the specified warranty period.
As a primary measure, MonkeySports will arrange for the product to be repaired during the warranty period. 
If the warranty has expired, you as the customer must be able to demonstrate that the defect existed from the very beginning in order to qualify for repair or other such rectification. 
Please remember to always have some form of purchase reference available when you contact us regarding a defective product. The warranty only covers manufacturing defects.
In other words, the warranty does not cover damage or defects that arise due to external factors or abnormal use.

An ice hockey stick has a warranty period of 30 days, during which time you, as the customer, are covered for manufacturing defects.

In other words, the warranty does not apply to damage or defects caused by external factors. Examples of external factors in an ice hockey context include when a hockey stick is subject to a blow or shot or is trodden on by a skate. 
An ice hockey stick is a product that is created with advanced technology in a fragile material with the aim of making you a better hockey player. 

An ice hockey stick is designed to be used for passing, shooting and controlling a puck.

In order for MonkeySports to be able to process a warranty claim or complaint regarding a composite hockey stick, the serial number must still be on the stick, and the stick must not be sprayed/painted.

When you make a purchase via a MonkeySports website, MonkeySports always saves certain personal data about you to enable you to complete your purchase.
MonkeySports processes all personal data confidentially.
You have the right to request access to your data, as well as the right to request rectification or erasure if any data is inaccurate. MonkeySports uses first-party and third-party cookies to provide a superior user experience. Cookies consist of small text files. The text files contain data that is stored on the visitor’s computer. From time to time the website requests data from the cookies that the visitor has stored on their computer. Websites use cookies for a number of purposes, including to save settings for how the website should be displayed to the visitor. MonkeySports uses cookies to provide visitors with access to various functions on the website, and to monitor the website’s visitor traffic with the aim of improving the website with the help of the data collected.

The following circumstances shall be deemed to constitute grounds for force majeure if they prevent performance of the contract, and a party shall not be obligated to take measures to avoid or overcome the consequences of these circumstances:
pandemic, war, insurrection or riot, mobilisation or unforeseen military conscription of equivalent scope, requisition, seizure, currency restrictions, export or import restrictions, general shortage of goods, shortage of means of transport, industrial action (including conflicts at a party’s own workplace), fuel restrictions, fire, or faulty or delayed deliveries from suppliers, subcontractors or raw material suppliers, which have been caused by any of the circumstances specified herein as constituting grounds for force majeure, or the loss of raw materials during transportation to one of the company’s facilities, as well as all other circumstances beyond a party’s control, providing such circumstance has been beyond the party’s control and has impacted performance of the contract in a manner that could not have been foreseen at the time of entering into the contract.

Even if you have done so in the past, please always read these terms of purchase carefully before placing an order via MonkeySports, as these terms of purchase may be amended or updated from time to time.
