Find the right size for Youth, Junior, Intermediate and Senior — measure your shin length for the most accurate result.
Measure from the centre of your kneecap down to the centre of your outer ankle bone. Measure in cm.
Shin guard sizes are given in inches and refer to the pad's actual length — not your height.
Stand straight and measure from the floor to the top of your head.
The pad should sit just below the knee and the bottom edge should overlap slightly with the skate boot.

Measure from the centre of the kneecap straight down to the centre of the outer ankle bone. This is the key measurement for selecting the correct shin guard size.
Choose the larger size. A shin guard that is too short leaves the ankle exposed. A slightly oversized pad can be secured with hockey sock and tape.
The inch designation (e.g. 15", 16") refers to the pad's physical length. This is Bauer's standard naming convention and makes it easy to compare pads across different product lines.
The bottom edge of the pad should overlap slightly with the top of the skate boot. The top should sit just below and behind the kneecap without blocking knee flexion.
