Find the right size for Youth, Junior, Intermediate, Senior and Women's — chest circumference gives the most accurate fit.
Measure circumference around the widest part of your chest. Keep the tape horizontal and snug.
Stand straight against a wall and measure from the floor to the top of your head.
Body weight is a secondary reference — use it when chest measurement falls between sizes.
Pads should fully cover the shoulder cap and upper arm without restricting arm movement.

Wrap a measuring tape around the widest part of your chest, keeping it horizontal and snug but not tight. Measure in centimetres and match to the chart above.
Choose the larger size. Shoulder pads must cover the entire shoulder cap and upper arm. A too-small pad leaves the top of the arm exposed to impact.
When the chest measurement exceeds the Intermediate range (above approximately 80–100 cm), it is time to move to Senior. Body measurement is the deciding factor — age is secondary.
Bauer's X-W shoulder pads have narrower shoulder panels and an adjusted chest profile shaped for the female body. A woman who fits a standard Senior M by chest measurement may find the X-W S or M a much better anatomical fit.
