Bauer's SV-Pro leg pads are designed to control the crease, offering a thin, soft flex core combined with an ultra-light, responsive build—all at a more affordable price.

Construction

• CURV® Composite Reinforced Thigh: These pads feature a highly rigid CURV® Composite at the thigh for added durability and flexibility. CURV® technology resists cracking, warping, and splintering in cold conditions, helping the pads maintain a tight seal with a strong rebound for longer.

• Thin, Soft Flex Core: Based on Bauer’s Vapor Flex Profile 1, the pads flex naturally with the goalie. The core provides soft to mid-level flex below the knee, becoming progressively softer above, delivering excellent rebound control while maintaining pliability compared to Bauer’s Supreme pads.

Knee Landing & Calf Support

• STABILIFLEX Knee Block: Unlike the Supreme’s STABILISLIDE, the SV-Pro’s knee block offers more direct, responsive knee motion with added flexibility between the knee and pad core.

• BalancePlate Calf Support System: Improved over past Vapor models, this single-bracket system supports a stable butterfly stance without sacrificing the Vapor series’ signature flexibility.

Strapping Options

• SLYD TuneFit Strapping (Vapor FlyLite): Allows easy adjustment at the top and bottom of the calves, featuring a sleek, low-profile design focused on lightweight flexibility.

• TuneFit+ Strapping (Stock): A wider, padded A-strap across the calves provides plush comfort for goalies who prefer a softer fit.

Below-Knee Strap Choices

• No Below-Knee Strap (Stock): Includes mounting points for a below-knee (professor) strap but no stretch strap included.

• Adjustable Stretch Wrap Below-Knee: Option to add and install a stretchable below-knee strap for extra security.

Boot & Toe Box

• Reactive-Flex 100° Boot with Thick Profile: This boot offers a more ergonomic fit than Bauer’s 120° Supreme boot. Its softer flex enhances ankle mobility and precision, while a thicker profile helps create tighter rebound control near the posts.

• Pro-Inspired Elastic Toe-Tie System: Borrowed from Bauer’s Supreme Shadow pads, these elastic ties secure the pads and allow for greater ankle movement. The ties attach to a 4-hole toe bridge adjustable with a single grommet for a customized fit.

Construction

• Smooth Vapor Closure: The glove closes with a smooth, fingers-to-mid-thumb break reminiscent of the popular 590 break. The T-top is reinforced with lightweight, durable CatchLite foam for long-lasting shape and performance.

• Polycarbonate Palm Reinforcement: The palm is cushioned with dense impact foam supported by a rigid polycarbonate layer to protect against high-velocity shots.

• CURV® Reinforced Cuff: The cuff features CURV® composite for durability and enhanced puck control, resisting cracking and deformation even in cold conditions.

• Reshaped Double-T: Using Bauer’s fused construction, this wider double-T pocket offers 5% more catching area and improved toughness compared to previous models.

Fit & Feel

• Flexible AeroLite Backhand: Segmented AeroLite foam offers lightweight, flexible protection against stray skates and sticks without interfering with glove closure.

• Nash® Palm Lining with Grip+: Premium synthetic suede lining provides a confident, tacky grip throughout the game. The Grip+ applique at the base of the fingers further enhances control.

Strapping

• Exposed Wrist Strap: Plush padded mesh wrist strap with a wide pull-tab for easy on-ice adjustments.

• Adjustable Backhand Fit: Three hook-and-loop closures allow fine-tuning of finger and palm tightness.

Construction

• Supreme Polycarbonate Board: Built on Supreme’s architecture, the blocker features a sharp rebound-flare and slightly more padding for a top-heavy feel. Its rigid polycarbonate core keeps rebounds crisp and controlled.

• F1 (Vapor) Side Plate: Offers a flexible balance between protection and stick handling, with a deep thumb notch and plush, flexible thumb padding supported by a solid molded core.

Protection

• Hinged Finger Protection with Defense Cloud Tech Foam: Curved, mobile finger guards padded with dense yet lightweight foam protect from stray pucks while maintaining flexibility.

• Adjustable Finger Fit: Tension for non-index fingers can be individually adjusted, with removable padding on the index finger side for further customization.

• 14.5” Nash® Palm: The palm is made of moisture-resistant, high-tack synthetic suede for premium comfort and grip.
