Vaughn VX1 Pro Carbon Senior Goalie Leg Pads are hand-crafted in Oxford, Michigan, and London, Ontario, designed to dominate the crease with a flexible, traditional feel combined with cutting-edge construction.

Core Construction
The VX1 Pro Carbon pads feature a rigid carbon composite layering in every core option, delivering explosive rebound pop and long-lasting durability without adding unnecessary weight. A thinned thigh rise offers improved pad overlap and mobility, while a stiffer upper thigh maintains a solid 5-hole seal. Classic triple knee rolls provide a traditional look with versatile rebound response. Built to pro specifications, these pads meet elite performance standards.

Flex Options

• Stock: Single-break, mid-stiff core for thigh stability with flexible feel below the knee.

• Double-Break: Softer core with breaks above and below the knee for maximum flexibility.

Boot Construction
A scoop-shaped QuickSlide boot—introduced in the Velocity V9—allows for faster pad rotation off the skate and better ergonomics. QuickSlide material enhances durability and slide speed.

• Stock Boot Flex: Soft for a balance of mobility and seal.

• Optional: Stiff boot flex for increased coverage at the post.

• Toe Ties: Stock bungee w/ Velcro® improves ankle range of motion. Alternatives include bungee with clips or traditional skate lace (with optional sliding toe bridge).

Outer Roll Options

• Stock: Single break for moderate flex and seal.

• Optional: No break for max stiffness; double break for softer thigh flex.

Mobility & Control
QuickSlide inner edge enhances slide control and speed, while wide HD calf plates provide a stable, cushioned landing. The direct knee stack-core integration ensures responsive pad movement and long-term durability.

Fit & Strapping System
The recessed knee cradle allows improved pad rotation and compatibility with various knee guards. The dual RRC+ calf straps give precision control with freedom at the knee. Choose between stock (standard fit) or custom (tight fit).

Strapping Options:

• RRC+ Calf Wrap (Stock): Loose outer wrap for better pad rotation

• Upper/Lower Calf Sizes: 4", 7" (stock), 9"
