Skate Sizing
Find the right fit for Youth, Junior, Intermediate and Senior — use your foot length for the most accurate result.
How to Measure Your Foot
Stand on paper with your heel against a wall. Mark the tip of your longest toe and measure in cm.
Measure the widest part of your foot (the ball) to check if you need a wide fit.
Bauer skates run 1-1.5 sizes smaller than your regular shoe size. Always use foot length as your guide.
Most people have one foot slightly larger. Always size to the larger foot.

FAQ
Common Questions
How much smaller are Bauer skates than shoe size? +
Bauer skates run 1 to 1.5 sizes smaller than regular shoe size. A EU 43 shoe corresponds to roughly a size 8 senior skate. Always confirm using your foot length in cm.
Should I size up or down if I am between sizes? +
In most cases, size down. A skate that is too large reduces control and increases the risk of blisters. If in doubt, try both sizes if possible.
What is the difference between Youth, Junior, Intermediate and Senior? +
Youth covers the smallest feet (up to ~20.7 cm). Junior runs sizes 1–3.5 for growing children. Intermediate (sizes 4–6.5) bridges the gap for teenage players who have outgrown Junior. Senior skates are for adult players (size 7 and up) and offer the widest range.
What is the difference between Fit 1, 2 and 3? +
Fit 1 is tapered for narrow feet, Fit 2 is standard medium width for most players, and Fit 3 is wide with extra volume. If unsure, Fit 2 is the best starting point.
Can I bake Bauer skates at home? +
Most Bauer skates can be heat moulded at home at around 80-90 degrees for 5-8 minutes. Lace them up immediately afterwards and wear until cool. Check your model's instructions before baking.
