Hockey Skates Bauer Vapor FlyLite Jr.
Bauer Vapor FLYLITE Junior Hockey Skate — elite skate in junior format with FUSIONLITE Quarter and FUSION FLEX Facing for the young elite player.
The Bauer Vapor FLYLITE Junior Hockey Skate is the elite skate for the junior player who lives on the attack and develops their hockey IQ. With FUSIONLITE Quarter, FUSION FLEX Facing and DIGI COMP Outsole, FLYLITE Junior is built to harness the full extent of hockey instincts — for the first time Bauer's most elite-level VAPOR Skate is offered in sizes 1–3.5.
FUSIONLITE Quarter with FLY TENDON
The FUSIONLITE Quarter with FLY TENDON construction has the same hyper-flexible materials as the senior version — fused together to move with you. For junior players developing their skating technique, this is pedagogically correct: the skate rewards every correct movement.
FUSION FLEX Facing — spring in your step
The FUSION FLEX Facing with five flex notches allows a deeper knee bend that acts like a spring. When the junior player loads and unleashes power in the stride, they get immediate feedback — explosive acceleration putting space between them and defenders.
DIGI COMP + FUSION CONNECT Toe Cap
The DIGI COMP Outsole is reinforced for optimal energy transfer. FUSION CONNECT Toe Cap and updated toe geometry give the junior player grip and fit that keeps focus on the game. Pro-stock felt tongue delivers comfort.

Skate Sizing
Find the right fit for Youth, Junior, Intermediate and Senior — use your foot length for the most accurate result.
How to Measure Your Foot
Stand on paper with your heel against a wall. Mark the tip of your longest toe and measure in cm.
Measure the widest part of your foot (the ball) to check if you need a wide fit.
Bauer skates run 1-1.5 sizes smaller than your regular shoe size. Always use foot length as your guide.
Most people have one foot slightly larger. Always size to the larger foot.

FAQ
Common Questions
How much smaller are Bauer skates than shoe size? +
Bauer skates run 1 to 1.5 sizes smaller than regular shoe size. A EU 43 shoe corresponds to roughly a size 8 senior skate. Always confirm using your foot length in cm.
Should I size up or down if I am between sizes? +
In most cases, size down. A skate that is too large reduces control and increases the risk of blisters. If in doubt, try both sizes if possible.
What is the difference between Youth, Junior, Intermediate and Senior? +
Youth covers the smallest feet (up to ~20.7 cm). Junior runs sizes 1–3.5 for growing children. Intermediate (sizes 4–6.5) bridges the gap for teenage players who have outgrown Junior. Senior skates are for adult players (size 7 and up) and offer the widest range.
What is the difference between Fit 1, 2 and 3? +
Fit 1 is tapered for narrow feet, Fit 2 is standard medium width for most players, and Fit 3 is wide with extra volume. If unsure, Fit 2 is the best starting point.
Can I bake Bauer skates at home? +
Most Bauer skates can be heat moulded at home at around 80-90 degrees for 5-8 minutes. Lace them up immediately afterwards and wear until cool. Check your model's instructions before baking.
