Goalie Leg Pads Bauer Vapor FlyLite Sr.
Bauer Vapor FLYLITE Senior Goal Pad — elite goal pad with SLID3R Skin, Rebound Boost Core, CURV Composite Thigh Rise and Reactive-FLEX Boot for the elite goaltender.
The Bauer Vapor FLYLITE Senior Goal Pad is the elite goal pad for netminders who have a sixth sense for the game. With SLID3R Skin, Rebound Boost Core and CURV Composite Thigh Rise, FLYLITE is designed to feel more like a part of the body — you play as fast as your reflexes.
SLID3R Skin + Rebound Boost Core
The SLID3R Skin construction reduces friction along the ice for fast, effortless post-to-post slides. The Rebound Boost Core combined with CURV Composite Thigh Rise seals the ice and strengthens the five-hole — the puck doesn't end up in the wrong area after rebounds.
Reactive-FLEX 100° Boot + PRO+ Elastic Toe
The Reactive-FLEX Thick 100-Degree Boot features a brand-new strap system that delivers a snug fit that moves with you — every save feels fast and seamless. The PRO+ Elastic Toe System acts like a rubber band: stretching off the boot in butterfly and returning to position when you stand.
Rebound Edge Shin Boot + STABILIFLEX Knee Block
The stiff outer roll Rebound Edge Shin Boot helps prevent the puck from popping over your pad on butterfly saves. The Extended STABILIFLEX Knee Block is larger than its predecessor for improved stability and slideability — easy movement post to post and dynamic cross-ice saves.

Frequently Asked Questions
FAQ
Should I measure with or without skates? +
Always measure with skates on. Skates add approximately 3–5 cm in height and affect where the kneecap sits in relation to the pad.
What is thigh rise and how does it affect sizing? +
Bauer's leg pads feature a thigh rise design that extends coverage 1.5" further up the thigh. This provides better protection without needing to size up. Always choose based on your measured shin height — not 1.5" shorter.
What is the difference between Junior, Intermediate and Senior? +
The segments differ in both size and construction. Junior pads are lighter and more flexible. Intermediate sits in between with better protection. Senior pads offer the widest coverage (11" pad width) and most advanced materials for competitive play.
How do I choose pad width? +
A wider pad gives more coverage but can reduce mobility. Beginners and younger goalies often prefer narrower pads for easier movement, while experienced goalies favour wider coverage. Senior pads have a standard width of 11".
Can I size up for more coverage? +
It is possible but not recommended. Pads that are too long negatively affect mobility and make it harder to drop into a proper butterfly. Stick to your measured size.
