Bauer Vapor Hyperlite Int. Hockey Skates
Hyperlite is the latest addition to the vapor family. This ultralight skate maximizes speed and agility along with a range of new, innovative features. The 4 top loops have built-in flex zones to maximize the circumference around the foot and the flex forward at the same time. This provides stability in side-to-side movements when changing direction and helps you maximize the power of skating.
Maximum energy transfer
The Hyperlite skate is equipped with a rigid composite material on the front and a more flexible material further back towards the heel. This allows you to maximize your energy transfer in the acceleration of your insert, while having an incredible grip on rapid changes of direction.
Reduced weight with increased comfort
The material Aerolite, which we added to the tongue on the skate, is a material with many advantages. In addition to contributing to a lighter skate, there is the right amount of support, comfort, protection and flexibility. A perfect design to develop your skating and your game out on the ice.
Sizing Guidelines: When you receive your skates, try them on and push your foot forward so that your toes (while flat) barely glance the toe cap. Bend your knee forward and look behind the heel of your foot down the skate. If you can fit a finger behind the heel easily, the skates are too big. A fingertip should be securely wedged between the heel of your foot and the back side of the skate. While all players might have their own preference for fit, hockey skates should be 1 ½ sizes down from your shoe size. For most players this will be close to the proper fit. For example, if you are a US Men's shoe size 9, you would want to go with a skate size 7.5.
Fit 1: Low volume/Narrow
Fit 2: Medium volume/Medium width
