True TF9 Sr. Hockey Skates
The boot on the True TF9 culminates in thousands of foot scans and hundreds of hours of development to get as close to a tailor-made skate fit as possible. The True TF9 shell uses TRUESHELL technology, their self-shaped carbon fiber and the one-piece thermoplastic shell create a thermo-shaped boot. This provides a high level of protection and performance while remaining ultra-light. TRUESHELL tech meanders down on the boot and the toe provides superior protection while weak points are eliminated around areas with high impact. True TF9 has an anatomical tongue with T-protection. The tongue has a rigid and contoured design that enables a light but anatomical fit for increased comfort. The adjustable tongue allows the player to easily position it to suit their style and comfort level. The T-Guard insert provides superior shock protection. To the inside of the skate, True went with a hydrofoam liner to the entire inside of the boot. This antimicrobial, moisture-repellent lining helps keep your feet dry while providing superior comfort through a multi-density foam construction. True has also implemented a custom fit system with the insole. The TF9 insole integrates a fit to accommodate low, middle and high arch feet. The placement of the fit inserts is marked on the insole for easy placement to ensure the correct fit regardless of the arch type. True TF9 uses brand new versatile SHIFT holders. The SHIFT holders have improved BenchChange technology that enables faster replacement of steel without the need for a special tool. Simply pull back the blue slider, snap out the steel and replace it with a new steel. These holders are specially designed to prevent you from wasting time on the ice. True TF9 will also use SHIFT Onyx black steel. These onyx steels improve the life of skates and provide a sharper edge, which increases acceleration and durability. True TF9 will be thermoformable to further enhance the fit and comfort of the skate and ensure that your foot has the best fit inside the boot possible.
If you are an elite level player looking for fit and elite performance, look no further than True TF9.

Sizing Guidelines: When you receive your skates, try them on and push your foot forward so that your toes (while flat) barely glance the toe cap. Bend your knee forward and look behind the heel of your foot down the skate. If you can fit a finger behind the heel easily, the skates are too big. A fingertip should be securely wedged between the heel of your foot and the back side of the skate. While all players might have their own preference for fit, hockey skates should be 1 ½ sizes down from your shoe size. For most players this will be close to the proper fit. For example, if you are a US Men's shoe size 9, you would want to go with a skate size 7.5.
