Like the category-leading AX9, the AX5 has True's redefined optimized low-kick profile at the bottom of the shaft. On the construction, AX5 uses True's Axenic technology, which is a forming process that eliminates all cavities in the stick. The result is a real one-piece design, giving players a consistently balanced club. The Axenic technology in the AX5 is interconnected with SmartPly technology. This contains 25 redistributed layers of carbon fiber on the inside of the shaft, which helps to reduce the total weight, while increasing the durability of the shaft. This not only increases the life of the club, it also creates a balanced weight. To the blade on the AX5, True went with its BRT + blade technology. For the latest iteration, they have improved even more than their predecessor. Braided tubes inside the blade have been extended further into the heel, giving players superior feel and control over the puck, along with an extra layer of durability.
